Everything your indoor training needs
Kadenz reads the numbers your bike and sensors already broadcast — and brings them accurately into Apple Health.
-
FTMS trainer over Bluetooth
Connects to any FTMS indoor bike (Fitness Machine Service 0x1826) regardless of brand and shows power in watts, cadence, speed and distance in real time.
-
Heart rate & training zones
Chest strap, Apple Watch or bike: Kadenz automatically picks the best source. Five configurable ranges show your current intensity zone and bpm range live on iPhone and Watch.
-
SpO₂ at a glance
Shows the latest blood-oxygen reading from Apple Health along with its age — read-only, without measuring on its own and without double counting.
-
Straight into Apple Health
Every workout lands in Apple Health with power, cadence and speed series — right where the rest of your health data already lives.
-
Apple Watch mirroring
Start on the iPhone; Apple Watch records the session and measures heart rate natively. You can then pause, resume and stop on either device.
-
Auto-pause & auto-resume
Stop pedalling and the workout pauses automatically after five seconds — and resumes the moment you start again. Can be turned off if you prefer.
-
Free training without a bike
No bike paired? Start anyway and record heart rate and duration — ideal for strength, mobility or stretching sessions.
-
Privacy by design
Your data stays on the device and in your Apple Health app. No account, no cloud, no tracking — and this website too runs without cookies or analytics.
-
Dashboard & workout history
See your latest workout, weekly and all-time totals, and an eight-week trend. Open past workouts with charts, add a title and note, or delete your own entries.
Train in four steps
From pairing to a finished entry in Apple Health.
- 1
Pair bike & sensors
Open Kadenz, start the scan and connect to your FTMS bike and, optionally, your chest strap.
- 2
Start your training
One tap is enough — or start a free training session without a bike at all.
- 3
See your numbers live
Power, cadence, speed and heart rate appear in real time, colour-coded and easy to read.
- 4
Automatically in Apple Health
When you finish, Kadenz saves the complete workout to Apple Health and shows it straight away in your dashboard and workout history.
Your numbers, clearly coded
Every metric has its own fixed colour — on the iPhone as on the Apple Watch.
Frequently asked questions
Answered briefly.
Which bikes are supported?
Any indoor bike with the FTMS Bluetooth profile (Fitness Machine Service 0x1826). Primarily tested with the Decathlon/Domyos Training Bike 900; the design is deliberately brand-independent.
Do I need an Apple Watch?
No. An Apple Watch is optional — it provides heart rate and can act as the recorder, but Kadenz works fully with the iPhone alone.
Is my data tracked?
No. Kadenz collects no usage data and uses no analytics and no cloud. Your training data stays on the device and in Apple Health.
What does Kadenz cost and when is it coming?
Kadenz is coming soon to the App Store. We will announce price and date here in good time.
